Well we started yesterday just inside the North Dakota border, and we finished it just outside of the UP.
Basically all we did was drive all of yesterday. We did go into Theodore Roosevelt National Park to see some Bison and Prairie Dogs (successful) and take some pictures.
Right now we are in Duluth, Minnesota about to grab some breakfast and get back on the road. Next stop, Lake of the Clouds for some mountain biking and hiking over the next couple of days. Looks like we’ll be home come Mondayish!
Side note- Savannah experienced her first rain/storm of the trip last night, and boy it was a doozie.
Yeeehaaaa! Savannah has been brought back to life, and we are finally out of Cut Bank, Montana. Turns out it wasn’t even the clutch that died but the slave cylinder or something.
The last 2 days in Cut Bank were basically a scene from the movie Groundhod Day. Ate McDonald’s, showered and chilled at the town community center, saw Planet of the Apes twice (Excellent movie), and slept in Vannah at the mechanics haha. We did meet some great characters though and our mechanic Shane Hegel hooked us up. Next stop…Meeeechigan. Only about 2000 miles away haha.
Dive slow, Live easy.
Well we have broken down in Cut Bank, Montana. Let’s just say its a middle of nowhere town populated by really old people and native americans. Its a real treat.
Savannah’s clutch has been fried. We have a new 1 coming tomorrow so hopefully we can be back on the road then.
Now to find something to dooooo.
We’re in Whitefish, Montana just outside of Glacier National Park. Mountain biking at a ski resort all day today. Should be epic.
Canada was a blast. More details coming later.
